Highlighting the current resurgence in popularity of British
wool, this exhibition aimed to further promote the quality, versatility and
importance of the material, with artists using it in ways previously considered
rather unorthodox.
From Saville Row tailoring to wall installations the show
offered a vast amount of inspiration for textures, textiles and beautiful room
styling! My favourite interior, The
Modern Room, was created by AnneKyyroQuinn. Her clean and colourful furnishings and wall interiors would look
great in any contemporary space, showing the revived modernity of the material.
Sadly the exhibition has now finished (13th-24th March)
but all exhibitor information and details about The Campaign for Wool can be found at http://www.campaignforwool.org/wool-house/contributors/.
